High Profile Adventure Racing L.L.C. is an organization of multi-sport athletes who actively promote the sport of adventure racing. We pursue a lifestyle of lifelong fitness and competition. We believe in the preservation of wild places, the cleaning up of the environment, and in supporting "green" companies. We promote a high quality, challenging and affordable race showcasing the natural beauty and history of the Quad City region. We also advance the sport of adventure racing by hosting an "adventure camp" at beautiful and scenic YMCA Camp Benson in Mount Carroll, Illinois and an Advanced Adventure Camp - Colorado. |

New for 2010! On Sunday, March 28 on the final day of the High Profile Adventure Camp, race in the Lightning Strikes sprint length adventure race. The 8 hour race will feature canoeing, trekking, caving, mountain biking, and multiple fixed ropes events. The course will cover approximately 50 miles in and around Camp Benson in Carroll County, Illinois. It is a Checkpoint Tracker Series sprint race and a USARA National Championship qualifying race. Click on the race logo above for more information and race updates. The 4th annual, High Profile Adventure Camp at YMCA Camp Benson in Mt. Carroll, Illinois is scheduled for March 26 - 28, 2010. Spend 4 days in Colorado using the skills learned at the High Profile Adventure Camp. Join us; climbing, rappelling, ascending, white water rafting, and trekking with the final goal of summiting two 14,000' peaks in one day. Registration is now open.
