Over
the Memorial Day weekend, Team High Profile retreated to Camp
Merrill Benson, in Mt. Carroll, Illinois, to focus on training.
Over
a 7 hour period, the Team rode 30 miles on the steep country roads
of Carroll County, trail ran the north trail system at Mississippi
Palisades State Park for 7 miles, rappelled an 80' cliff, coasteered
down the rain swollen, Waukarusa River for 2 miles, and ascended
up an 80' limestone cliff.
The
day provided weather extremes from cold rain to warm sunshine.
Sitting
around the campfire afterwards with teammates and support crew
members was enjoyed by all.

The
Team also stacked wood and cleaned the main cabin as a thank you
to camp managers Mike and Jennifer Rule.
