International Adventure Travel Outdoor Show (IATOS)

Team High Profile had the honor of participating in the 2002 IATOS Adventure Race held in conjunction with the International Adventure Travel and Outdoor Show held at the Navy Pier in Chicago.
The race was organized by Team Celebrex.
	Ten (10) adventure racing teams were chosen to participate with a "ringer" team of world champions. <--- "Ringers" Rebecca Rusch, Ian Adamson, Geoff Hunt and Race Director Danny Suter. The race involved a variety of timed skill events.
These events included navigation... Rebecca, Ian and Geoff returning from their navigation leg. --->
Fly casting... Randy, Gerry and Melaine casting. --->
Rock climbing blindfolded ... Melaine climbing wall. --->
Raft Portaging ... Randy and Melaine portaging. --->
A Kayak Eskimo Roll ... Randy ready to roll with Gerry poised to rescue. --->
Scootering ... Rebecca and Ian practicing.
And finally a mountaineering test involving an ice climb, traverse, rappell and rope ascent.
	Team High Profile proudly represented Adventurous Concepts, a Florida based adventure race organizer. THP placed second in the race and received a team entry fee for the Mid-America Xtreme Trekkineer 24 hour race scheduled for August 30-31, 2002 in the Michigan Upper Peninsula.
